And the week starts....

Haven't been to active on here for the past week.  There's been a lot going on in our lives, so it has been rather hectic.  Carol spent most of the week helping out one of our  daughters whom is having some marital problems.  She has managed to eliminate the "problem" from her life, but now the tough stuff start.  All of the whys and whatfors, etc.   It's a tough right now, but it will be better in time.

I did some painting for a friend last week.  Bathroom remodel.   Have one part painted so the tile can be put down.  Will probably finish the rest this week.  Saturday we picked up some chickens from people that raise them.  We were going to get chicks, but these were available.  They are a little over 4 months old.  I made a temporary chicken area until we get the other finished.  The dogs aren't happy about the situation, but they will get over it.  Eventually they will get used to each other.

The weather has not been the best.  The temperatures have not been too bad.  40's and 50's, but the straight winds have been higher than the temperatures.  The dust has been kicking up during the day.  Saturday the visibility was down to about a mile.  May get a little rain this week.  That would be nice.   March is coming in like a lion instead of a lamb.  Or if this a lamb we are in deep doo-doo.

Hope everyone has a good week.  Thoughts and prayers to anyone who may be in need.  Though when you think about it, we are all in need, so my thoughts and prayers go out to all who may read this, whether you think you need it or not.
