The day is starting out at  -0 degrees this morning.  I say minus zero because it is damn damn cold.  I need to go out and clean off about 2" of "very light flurries with little or no accumulation"!  It only snow for a couple of hours last night, but came down pretty heavy.  The moisture is nice and the temps are supposed to be in the 40's and 50's later in the week so it will melt.

Pheasant ends in a week so there will be hunters out in abundance trying to get in a last minute hunt.  Our friend from Colorado is bringing some people out.  They are a good bunch of people.  Very conscientious about their hunting.  They only hunt where they have permission and don't tear up property.  Our friend SMc has a house down the road from us.  I take care of it when he is not here.  I need to go turn on the water, lite the hot water heater and turn up the furnace as they will be in later today.  He may be bringing some pallets.  We have projects in mind for them.  I was telling him about these projects when he was here a couple of weeks ago.  He said he knew of places that just threw them away.

Carol got a Kindel for Christmas.  I finally got around to registering for her.  She is reading the Patriot and really enjoying it.  A lot of good ideas.  Once again it shows just how unprepared we are for anything.  I may get to read it if she isn't in to something else!

Time to get on with clearing off those snow flurries off the walk!  Have a good week.  May the Lord Bless each and every one of you.   the blessings are there.  You just have to ask for them.---johnnyb

  2. I've recommended the novel, a must read in my opinion, since it was printed. Lord knows how many I've given away...you will enjoy it, my friend.
