Welcome

Welcome to Mad Dog and Englishman, and Dani. Thanks for hitting the follow button. It is interesting to see what is going on in other parts of the world (South Africa)and what they are doing to with their lives. I encourage new followers to also check out my blog list. There are some really good people there that I consider good friends even though we have never met in person. Check'em out.
Still been working on the cabin. will get some sheetrock this week finish the ceiling. Didn't get to pick up the wood cook stove Saturday as planned. Roads too muddy. Some areas had a lot of rain. Up to 7.5 inches. We had 1.2. Was a good gentle rain.
Carol and I are going to the eye doc today. Been over 3 years. Our glasses have out lived their usefulness, or else our arms have shrunk. At least that is the excuse I use for my spelling in these blogs!
Daughter and one grandson here for the weekend. Always fun to have the kids around. Wish I had the energy of the 6-year old; well maybe just a little of it. I don't think my 65-y/o body could handle too much of it. The pic was kind of cute--The "kids" lazing around!

God Bless all who read this and may God touch your hearts today even if you don't think you need it!---johnnyb

  1. John - I generally check out sites listed on blogs I follow - if I'm interested in a blog (in this instance, yours) chances are that the blogs you follow will interest me too LOL

Also have the short arm problem - dang, it's nasty this incessant adding of years to my age...

The BEST thing about my advancing years is my precious grandson - would be so much poorer without him!
