But, do I have to pee bad enough to get up!
I always try to have a camera handy around just in case. You have to be there at the right time. This is Dinka, our 9 y/o Lab-Retriever mix. She has had joint problems and is under medication for them. Recently we added some glucosomine, which is over the counter. She can once again get up on her beloved couch and romps a little with the other dogs. Good to see it happen.
The lady we got our chickens from called last night. They wanted to know if we wanted more. Carol told her we would take 6 more. They are just starting to lay. We can get them settled in before winter. Will get them in a week or so.
It was a busy night at the bar and grill on Saturday. Saturday nite is rib-eye steak night. They served 80-some steaks. Good steaks. 18-20 ounces. On top of that, they also served quite a few pizzas and burgers. Not bad for a little town of a couple hundred population. Some Saturday nites they will serve over a hundred steaks. The bar was two-deep for a while when the dining room was full. But a good time was had by all. Lots of beer, good food, a few games of shuffle board, snooker and eight-ball. Thursday nite is prime-rib nite. Same deal, 18-20 ounce prime rib. Usually not as many, 30-40 served.
I started with a dog story, so I will finish with one:
God Bless All, especially man's best friend---johnnyb
I see that our dog is not the only one who claims the best seat in the house!
ReplyDeleteThat is the truth. If we on the couch, they will stand there and stare at us until we move!
ReplyDeleteShe looks awful comfortable on that couch :)
